Surprise your family with this delicious almond dessert.
150gr almonds, Verde Valle
1 cinnamon stick, Verde Valle
2 cups sugar
1 cup sugar for candy
1 teaspoons almond essence
1 can "media crema"
HEAT the milk with sugar and cinnamon stick, when it starts to boil reduce heat and leave for 30 minutes until it is reduced to half. Remove from fire and let it cool completely. Remove cinnamon stick.
MEANWHILE, in a thick bottomed pot, heat sugar until it melts and has an amber color. With a spoon, fill little molds and cover bottom and sides. Place on a baking tray with hot water as double boiler.
BLEND almonds, eggs, essence, “media crema” and milk. Drain to molds to three quarters of their capacity. Cover each one with aluminium foil. Bake at 180º C; for 40 minutes.
REMOVE from oven, let cool completely and refrigerate overnight.
UNMOLD. Serve with candy figures.
